12 Giftable Tags of Christmas 2013 - #7

Hello all!  Doing a last minute entry for Ellen Hutsons 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist. My tag is inspired by Kelly Alvarez's tag from Day 5.

Winter Owl Tag

The tag uses the Lawn Fawn Winter Owl and Holiday Tags sets.  I don't have the cute Yeti but the owl looks cute!  The trees are from the Holiday Cheer Hero Arts set.

This tag is alse being entered in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge ... Let it Snow.

Happy inklings!

Hello all!

Coming right along on my Christmas tag project!  This is tag #6 of 12 so...just a few more to go!

My tag today uses the reindeer stamp from the Paper Smooches set Santa Paws.  Isn't he cute with his googly eyes?  He is colored with copics and has some Christmas Red Stickles on his nose and on the little heard.  The sentiment is from the same set and is heat embossed on SU Crumb Cake cardstock.    I also did some faux stitching around the edge.

This tag will be entered in the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge Anything Goes and the Lawnscaping Challenge #71 Tags and Treat Bags.

Happy inklings!

OK, so I'm a little behind on my Christmas Gift tag porject...oh well...I will do better next year!

Anyway, here is my fifth tag for 2013.  The tag starts out with a SU Crumb Cake base embossed with a snowflake embossing folder.  The snowflakes are highlighted with a brush of white pigment ink.  The snowman is from the Paper Smooches Set Swanky Snowdudes, colored with Copics and fussy cut. The greeting is from the same set, embossed with white and cut out "wonky style."   Added a little red heart and...all set!

My fourth giftable Christmas Tag for 2013 is this Snow Much Joy Tag.  He is colored with Copics and cut out using the matching die.  The snowman is backed with another piece of white cardstock to form the rest of the tag.

Here is my "giftable" Christmas tag for March.  It is similar to one I made in December but on a smaller scale.  The mittens are stamped using GinaK's Warm Mittens set, Versamark Ink and embossed with white embossing powder.  White vellum was used to create the little window for the sentiment.    Used the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher for the ribbon at the top.

Thanks for stopping by and happy inklings!

Here is my second Christmas tag for the year!  Made 12 of these babies to give as Christmas gifts!

This tag features stamps from a stamp company I found this fall - Rosie's Roadshow.   The snowman stamp with his face toward the sky is called Gloria. Isn't he cute?  Just love the stamp and the sentiment!

Pretty simple project - stamped the snowman three times and used a copic multiliner to add the ground dots.  Colored and outlined each little man with copics and then used Glossy Accents to fill in the snowman body.

Entering this project in Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes!

Gloria

'Til next time - happy inklings!

12 Giftable Tags of Christmas 2013 - #1

Hi all and Happy New Year!

Last year, I enjoyed making gift tags to give to family and friends as a Christmas gift.  So, I thought it would be fun to make tags again this year and also do a blog series to inspire others to make tags for themselves or others for the holidays.   My plan is to make one set of tags each month.  The "giftable" part is that they will be easily mass-produced so that I can make 12 or so of each tag.  Sound fun?  I hope you will enjoy!

Here goes....

Tag #1 of the 12 Giftable Gift Tags of Christmas 2013 features the Hero Arts Snowman Christmas set.   Pretty simple - the images are stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder on SU Crumb Cake card stock.  Because these were clear stamps, I was able to mount the scene on the clear block and only stamp once.  Cool, huh?  I used a Versamark pen to draw the snow bank. Not sure if you can see it in the photo, but I addes some glitter using a 2-Way Glue Pen.

This project will be entered in Ellen Hutson's Hero Arts Clear Stamp Make N Take and the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Anything Goes.
