Flower Stencil with Distress Inks

Hello all!

Today's project is a colorful card featuring a Heidi Swapp flower stencil and distress inks.  First, I used clear embossing paste over white card stock.  Distress inks were applied over the top of the embossed piece using the wonderful new Tim Holtz Mini Ink Blending Tool.  It is much easier to use than the old version.  The tag is cut using a WPlus9 Timeless Tag Die with a topper of vellum embossed with a sentiment from the SSS Birthday Messages set.

Thanks for visiting and happy inklings!

My Favorite Adhesive

There are alot of different adhesives out there, but my absolute favorite is Tombow Mono Multi Glue.  I like it because it really adheres well - nothing is worse than giving someone a card that they display on their desk and in a month or so the card falls apart becasue the adhesive fails.  The other really nice feature is that you have a little movement after you use it - so if you get somenthing a little off center or crooked - it's easy to slide into the correct place.  It's easy to use - just put a very thin line down and you are good to go!

So that's my story and I'm stinkin' to it!

Happy Stamping!
