Lawn Fawn

12 Giftable Tags of Christmas 2016 #10

Hello all!  Hope you, your family and friends had a wonderful Christmas!

I have one more Christmas tag to share with you that I started during Kathyrac's last 30 Day Coloring Challenge finished a few weeks ago.   The tag is die cut from Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Tags.  I first put a layer of distress ink then, over top of that, used a striped stencil to add more color.  Next I colored some white card stock with several green copic markers to create an ombre effect and die cut the joy using the Lawn Fawn Scripty Joy die.  I added some sparkle with clear Wink of Stella then a layer of glossy accents and adhered to the tag with another joy behind it cut from white card stock.

This tag will be entered in the Simon Says Make It Sparkle Challenge.

Hello all!

Today I have another Christmas tag featuring Mama Elephant Reindeer Games!    This tag was super simple...first, I cut the tag from kraft card stock with the Lawn Fawn Tag You're It die.  The scene was stamped with versamark ink and white heat embossed.  I did just a bit of coloring with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.

Hello all!  Today's project is an entry in Where Creativity Meets C9 Watercolor Challenge.   My project uses the Concord & 9th O Christmas Tree Stamp Set.  Love the images and sentiments in this set.

I started with a tag cut using the Lawn Fawn Circle Tag set from watercolor cardstock.  Next, the tree images were stamped using Tim Holtz Distress Ink and smooshed with a damp paint brush.  I used the same ink to add some splatters.  The sentiment and some tree decorations were heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

Hello all!  Back today with another Christmas Tag for my 12 Giftable Tags of Christmas series.  This one is super simple.  The tag base is cut from Bristol Smooth paper with the Lawn Fawn Circle Tag die.  Next, I stamped the cute Savvy Stamp Penguin with versamark ink and heat embossed with silver embossing powder.  Detail is added to the cheeks and scarf with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  Added a little twine and that was it!

Gift Card Envelope - 12 Giftable Tags Of Christmas 2016 #4

Hello all!  For the newest Simon Says Challenge: Gift It!, I decided to do a some Gift Card Envelopes using the Simon Says Stamp Gift Card Envelope Die.  The envelopes are simply cut from some Stampin' Up double sided Christmas papers.  To the front I adhered a white circle cut from the MFT Stitched Circle Dies with a sentiment and gift images from Lawn Fawn Winter Gifts.  The mat for the circle is cut from a coordinating patterned paper.  The "to and from" on the back is from the newly released Lawn Fawn set Tiny Tag Sayings.

Lawn Fawn Smart Cookie - Graduation Card

I made today's project several months ago for a family friend that was graduating from high school.  First, I used the Lawn Fawn Smart Cookie stamp set to stamp the cookie and graduation cap, then used the matching dies to cut them out.  The cloud border at the bottom was cut from patterned paper using the Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud die.  Also from Lawn Fawn, is the Script Congrats die.  I used two of the die cuts and offset them a bit.   The greeting on the inside really pulls the card together saying "You're One Smart Cookie."

Graduation Centerpiece

Just thought I would share the graduation centerpieces that my daughter, Katie, and I made for my son's graduation.  It is simply a mason jar with a sand filler.  We used BBQ skewers to as the "sticks" for the different decorations.  Katie wrapped the neck of the jar with some jute twine.  They were fun to make!

Today's project is my 6th Christmas Tag for 2015 with a vintage style.  It features this cute stamp from the Lockhart Stamp Company colored with Prismacolor Pencils.  After coloring the bear, I did some ink blending with Tea Dye Distress Ink and also stamped the sentiment, from SSS Hoiday Hellos, with the same ink.  The tag is die cut with my trusty Lawn Fawn Tag You're It Die.

More Watercolor!

Today's project is more homework for Online Card Classes Watercolor for Cardmakers Exploring Mediums.  The first lesson was about using different types of markers and I was inspired to use my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color these cute critters from Lawn Fawn Into the Woods Stamp Set.

The project is also an entry in the current One Layer Card Lawnscaping Challenge.

Into the Woods 9.28.15

The critters are colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a waterbrush.  The background incorporates Jennifer McGuire's technique of using the marker around the perimeter of the image and using the waterbrush to feather it out.    The sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn Chit Chat set.

This project will also be entered in the Simon Says No Designer Paper Challenge.

Season's Tweetings!

Today's project is an entry in the Lawnscaping Challenge: Texture.

My texture is added with the use of a Cuttlebug Snowflake Embossing folder.  The raised snowflakes are sponged with just a bit of white pigment ink to make them pop!  The focal image is from the Seasons Tweetings set by Lawn Fawn, colored with copics, and cut with the Lawn Fawn Tag Your It Die.
