Simon Says Stamp

12 Giftable Tags of Christmas 2016 #8

Hello all!  I've been so engrossed in Kathyrac's 30 Day Coloring Challenge that I have not taken time to post my latest tag!  The tag is heavily inspired by Jennifer McGuire in her post HERE on sentiment backgrounds.  The tag features two Simon Says Stamp sets - Gifts of Love and Holiday Hellos.   The tags are cut from Smooth Bristol paper using the Simon Says Stamp Large Tag Die.  Then, I stamped the gift stamp from SSS Gifts of Love on the tags and also stamped and prepared a mask using a post-it pad.  The gifts are colored with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers and then masked off.   Next, the sentiment was stamped repeatedly to create the background.

These were fun and easy to make - thanks Jennifer!

Hello all!  Back with another Christmas Tag!  This one features WPlus9 Friends For All Seasons - Fall.  The cute bear with the scarf looked pretty holiday-ish to me so why not?  The little guy is colored with copics, cut out with the matching die and popped up with foam tape.  The sentiment, from the Simon Says Stamp Happy set, is stamped and white cardstock and is a little base for the bear.  The tag is cut with the largest ofWPlus9 Timeless Tag dies.

Gift Card Envelope - 12 Giftable Tags Of Christmas 2016 #4

Hello all!  For the newest Simon Says Challenge: Gift It!, I decided to do a some Gift Card Envelopes using the Simon Says Stamp Gift Card Envelope Die.  The envelopes are simply cut from some Stampin' Up double sided Christmas papers.  To the front I adhered a white circle cut from the MFT Stitched Circle Dies with a sentiment and gift images from Lawn Fawn Winter Gifts.  The mat for the circle is cut from a coordinating patterned paper.  The "to and from" on the back is from the newly released Lawn Fawn set Tiny Tag Sayings.

Stamp Layering

Hello all !  Today's project is another clean and simple design for Simon Says Clean and Simple Challenge.  Again, I am using the Simon Says Stamp / WPlus9 Many Thanks Stamp Set.   This is a layering stamp set so I got to do some experimenting with the different stamps and color combinations.  The sentiment is also from the Many Thanks Stamp Set and is stamped with yellow pigment ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Clean and Simple Thank You

Hello all!  Today's project is an entry in Simon Says Clean and Simple Challenge....

Products from a few different companies are used in the card.  First, I ink blended some Distress Ink on the background using the Crafters Workshop Mini Chunky Chevron.  Next, the sentiment, from WPlus9/Simon Says Stamp Many Thanks is stamped with Versafine Black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  The triangle border is from Simon Says Stamp Flip Flop Season set and is also stamped with Versafine Black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Many Thanks 9.15.16

12 Giftable Tags of Christmas #3

Hi all!  Today's project is my 3rd giftable tag for 2016.  Super simple - I cut the tag using Simon Says Stamp Large Tag Dies and stamped the cat (I guess?) and the sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Gifts of Love set with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink.  The cat is simply colored with copics and I added an offset tag to the back with the "To and From" stamped on the back.

This project will be entered in the SSS Wednesday Challenge - Simon Says Stamptember Stamp It!

Smile!

Today's project is an entry in the Simon Says It's Hip To Be Square Challenge featuring the Simon Says Stamp Spring Flowers and Happy and Smile Stamp Sets.

First, I cut a square from Smooth Bristol cardstock and white heat embossed the flowers around the perimeter of the square.  The flowers are watercolored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  The greeting is heat embossed with gold in the center of the panel.  The center panel and card base are splattered with paint.  Also, I used a Jennifer McGuire trick to add emboss "splatters" to the card base.  Just put some water droplets, added embossing powder and heat set.  Pretty good trick!

12 Giftable Tags of Christmas # 2

Today's project features the Mama Elephant Reindeer Games set and is part of my series of Christmas Tags for 2016.  First, I prepared the tag by cutting one of the tags from the Large Tag die from Simon Say Stamp using navy cardstock.  Then to give it more night sky dimension, I sponged on some Black Soot Distress Ink with an ink blending tool.  Next, I used the SSS Falling Snow Stencil and some white pigment ink to create the look of snow.  The cute reindeer and pine tree from Mama Elephant Reindeer Games are colored with copics and cut with the matching die.  To finish off the tag, I put a snow border under the reindeer using the MFT Snow Drifts Border Dies.  A little Wink of Stella finished off the snow drift.

Wishing You Lots of Happy...

Today's project is a piece that I started during one of Kathy Rac's 30 Day Coloring Challenges.  The flower images are from an older set of cling stamps from Hero Arts Luscious Bold Flowers.  I stamped the flowers in Distress Ink and then smudged each flower a bit with a damp water brush.  I used a Distress Marker to add a little accent color to each flower.  The background is lightly watercolored with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Happy and Smile set. I added a little sparkle with a Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Pen.

Graduation Centerpiece

Just thought I would share the graduation centerpieces that my daughter, Katie, and I made for my son's graduation.  It is simply a mason jar with a sand filler.  We used BBQ skewers to as the "sticks" for the different decorations.  Katie wrapped the neck of the jar with some jute twine.  They were fun to make!
