Stampin Up

Gift Card Envelope - 12 Giftable Tags Of Christmas 2016 #4

Hello all!  For the newest Simon Says Challenge: Gift It!, I decided to do a some Gift Card Envelopes using the Simon Says Stamp Gift Card Envelope Die.  The envelopes are simply cut from some Stampin' Up double sided Christmas papers.  To the front I adhered a white circle cut from the MFT Stitched Circle Dies with a sentiment and gift images from Lawn Fawn Winter Gifts.  The mat for the circle is cut from a coordinating patterned paper.  The "to and from" on the back is from the newly released Lawn Fawn set Tiny Tag Sayings.

Hello You!

Hello all!  Today's project is a card inspired by a recent Julie Ebersole Hello Monday post.  The flower image was embossed with white embossing powder then "painted" with clear water.  Next, you dab on concentrated colors - I used Stampin Up reinkers.  Then you tilt, dab, dry, add more color, tilt, dab and dry some more, until you get the look that you like.   Used the Clear Wink of Stella marker to add a little sparkle to the SSS Small You Die.

Watercolor Emboss Resist Background

Hello all!  Today's project is another inspired by the OCC Watercolor and features a watercolor emboss resist background.  I wish I had used a little more water to make the colors flow together more - oh well, live and learn.

Layered Stamping

Hello and happy Wednesday!  Today's project is another technique from OCC Clean and Simple 3 - layered stamping.  I started wtih a white card base and used the SU  Canvas Background stamp first in Hero Arts Wet Cement.   Next, I used various inks to stamp Hero Arts Luscious Bold Flowers "randomly."  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Handwritten Borders - love this set!

One Layer Faux Metal

Hello all!  Here is my first homework for the Online Card Class Clean and Simple 3.  The first lesson was on faux metal.  It was a little challenge but after a few trials, I was able to sort of master it!  The first card uses the Stampin Up Set Petal Pushers and the sentiment on the next card is Simon Says Stamp Birthday Balloons.

Masked Happy Birthday!

Hello all!  Today's card is inspired by a card by Kristina Werner here.  I loved this sketch.  The background is a stencil airburshed with copics with the greeting area masked off.  The greeting, SU Alphabet soup, is embossed with silver embossing powder.

As I look back through my blog, I seem to be on a puple kick!  Better change up some colors next time.

This project will be entered in Simon Says Stamp...Emboss It Challenge.

Happy Birthday
